Plumbing Manager (Former Employee) says"Terrible owner who didnt pay his Bill's and half the calls coming into company was about delinquent payments and threats ..ran off great plumbers by calling them every job to ask how much job was cause he owed everybody and eventually payroll bounced and the great plumbers bounced out shaking my hand and flipping off the owner ..really sad 😒...run from this company worst place to work EVER!!!!!! Cons: The owner is a CON!!!"
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) says"Management and Supervisors are extremely unprofessional, rude and lazy. They are not the "family environment" they try to portray when interviewing and hiring."
Call Center/Dispatch Manager (Former Employee) says"No training, no communication, was titled manager and had manager duties, however was compensated as a supervisor. No support from HR when a problem with staff is brought to their attention. You’re just told to breathe and don’t let things bother you."
Service Technician (Former Employee) says"This is a pathetic excuse for a plumbing company... they pay well if you can become a Salesman and are okay with overpriced service! I work there to feed my family and I drank the Kool-Aid for a while, I learned quite a few tools I need to sell myself but working there was not good for my all around wholeness."
Office Manager (Former Employee) says"I worked at Benjamin Franklin for about two years, management is aggressive and Unprofessional. They say they offer health benefits but the deductible is $10-$12,000 a year! They management also find every reason not give you a raise. It seems they believe every employee is replaceable so if you don’t like it you can leave. So my recommendation would be run don’t walk away from this company! Cons: Everything"
Installer (Former Employee) says"In order to make any money at this place you have to be a rip off artist. They overcharge customers, sell customers services they don't need. I've seen them even tell older customers they fixed something under the house, charged them 2k, and didn't fix anything!!! These guys are not even plumbers, white shirt fast talking salesmen...this place made me hate going to work everyday, because in order to make a living you have to take advantage of ppl. I quit and never gave me my last check they still owe me a weeks check, Cons: They make money ripping ppl off"
Office Administrator (Current Employee) says"Very poor management, bait and switch hiring. Employee pays most of the benefits. The employee is expected to give 200% while management WILL not compensate for. Management acts very unprofessional, uses every excuse to not financially compensate employees. Plumber bonus program is always tampered with to ensure plumbers do not bonus! Stay clear of this company! Cons: Low pay, high cost of benefits-poor management"
Its a secret (Former Employee) says"Very poor owners who micromanage low level managers they hire almost on a temp basis because they bolt once they catch on with their nonsense. As far as plumbers they are great minus a few crybabys that were given special treatment over and over which caused a bad taste in multiple mechanics mouths. People please stay far clear from andover location. Ben Franklin is a good franchise in several other locations. This location will NOT and I mean not respect anyone except for 1 person who has been there over 20 years and is by far the biggest instagater you can imagine and they constantly promote her disgusting actions on the job. Turn your head type stuff!! Dosent belong on the job nor in a business. End of the day.. RUN and RUN fast... Cons: Lots"

Zero loyalty. Cons: Lack of morals, self-centered"
